Sheryl Lee Ralph, the beloved actress, singer, and activist, received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame yesterday.
Sheryl has been a powerhouse in the entertainment world for over 40 years. From her iconic role in Dreamgirls on Broadway to her standout performances on TV shows like Moesha and Abbott Elementary, she has shown the world what true talent looks like.
During the event, Abbott Elementary creator and co-star Quinta Brunson gave a heartfelt tribute. She said, “To be around her is to be around Hollywood history, grace and legend. She is a master class in what it means to be an eternal and consistent diva… She is who you came to see, and she is our star.”
Sheryl also shared her own emotional words, thanking her supporters and reminding everyone that dreams do come true.
