The General Election is 1 week away!



It been a year for the books, ending with the most important election of our lifetime!Can you believe we are one week away!Have you voted?Tens of millions of Americans have voted early.If you are still headed to the polls, here’s what you need to know!

What time are the polls open?

If you are voting in-person, polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. If you are in line by 8 p.m., you are allowed to vote.

Split tickets are allowed

While you can't vote "split ticket" during the primary election in Michigan, you can split your ticket during the general election. That means you can vote for individual candidates of your choice in any party.

Bring ID to the polls

You will be asked to show a photo ID at the polls. That includes a driver's license or state-issued ID card, passport, military ID, student ID with a photo from high school or accredited college, tribal ID or any other federal or state government-issued photo ID.
