I’ve said it from the beginning, the way to activate real change in our community is to VOTE!Today is Primary Election Day Tuesday here in Michigan.The polls are open across the state now until 8pm.If you didn’t vote early, don’t let anything get in the way of letting your voice be heard today!Polling location look a bit different during this pandemic.Here’s what to expect!
Do you have to wear a mask?
It is recommended that people wear a mask for safety while voting in Michigan. You will not be turned away from voting if you don't have a mask.
No splitting the ticket
During the Michigan primary, you are not allowed to vote "split ticket," which means voting for more than one party column. For example, you cannot vote for a Republican congressional candidate and then a Democratic senatorial candidate.
