I love when legends show respect to those who come after them.It’s a sign of true class.Still, I don’t agree that Ariana Grande can sing Patti Labelle under the table, but that’s what the music icon said.She shared a moment that happened when the two of them were set to perform at the White House a few years ago for Barack Obama’s Women of Soul concert.She said Ariana was a bit nervous and Patti encouraged her by saying,
“‘Girl, you’re a beast. Go up there and sing like that white-black woman you are.’ Ariana can sing me under the table—and listen, I can sing.”
Ariana is an incredible singer and performer, but Patti is legendary status!They both are great!
