A year ago yesterday, I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer, at the age of 40 with no symptoms or family history. I was at âThe Arethaâ, formerly Chene Park, to help announce the 2018 Summer Concert Series. I got the call on a Saturday while at work... It was devastating and unexpected. I thought I was going to die. I remember getting in my cry and crying. It was raining that day.I drove straight to be with my kids.Little did I know, I would be pronounced cancer-free within weeks, after surgery. I could not be more grateful to God!Ladies, when itâs time, please get your annual mammogram. It could save your life!
