Earlier this year I faced the fight of my life when I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer at the age of 40 following my very first mammogram. I had Ductal Carcinoma In Situ. DCIS is considered the earliest form of Breast Cancer. Imagine if I would have put off getting a mammogram... My treatment would have been far more aggressive. Or even worst, I might not have been here to tell my story. Today I am over four months cancer free! I am a prime example of how early detection is truly the key!
