Actress Issa Rae famously said “I’m rooting for everybody Black”, and there’s no shortage of African-American actors and actresses nominated for this year‘s primetime Emmy awards…including Rae herself for her show “Insecure”. Sterling K Brown of This Is Us is also nominated. My girl Tracy Ellis Ross of “blackish” is also nominated along with Anthony Anderson. John Legend received a nod for his work on “Jesus Christ Superstar”. And can you believe this Katt Williams is also nominated for his guest appearance on the show “Atlanta”, and of course the show creator and star Danny Glover a.k.a.
