Snoop Dogg goes Gospel!

"Bible of Love" was released earlier this month!

Have you heard??  Snoop Dogg just released his very first Gospel album, "Bible of Love" earlier this month.  He has teamed up with some Gospel heavy hitters including  Fred Hammond,  John P. Kee, Tye Tribbett, Mary Mary, Marvin Sapp, The Clark Sisters and more.

Here’s what he had to say about the project.

"With all of the negativity happening in the world right now, I figured it was time to do something positive to bring people together," he said. "I did my share of bringing dark moments. Now it’s time to bring the light."

Snoop also spoke on God’s role in making the project possible, specific to Marvin Sapp and Mary Mary.

"They didn’t know my spirit, or where I was coming from.  But I believe God spoke to both Mary Mary & Marvin, and they saw the God in me. They knew I was one of HIS own."

Snoop also says the album is dedicated to the memory of his grandmother.
