Mariah Carey & Anderson .Paak Are Reportedly Dating

Mariah Carey and Anderson .Paak are "full on dating" and have been an item for awhile now.

According to a report Us Weekly published on Wednesday, March 26, the two Grammy award-winning artists began enjoying each other's company a few months ago after they developed their romantic chemistry in the studio last year. An insider told the entertainment outlet that Carey was "never anticipating" a relationship when the first started working together. However, he reportedly "won her over quickly" and is still "very smitten" by her.

“Their dates have been very far apart because of schedules, but it’s been going on a few months," the source said.

“He has really been keeping her attention and they are full on dating,” the insider notes. “Their relationship started in the studio as they were working on new music together and it quickly turned romantic... They have a lot in common and it’s going really well."

Mariah and Anderson, born Brandon Paak Anderson, were first spotted out in public together at a Halloween party in November 2024. The Silk Sonic singer posted a photo with Carey while dressed as Daft Punk. They were later seen in Aspen together shortly afterward, which sparked more chatter about the nature of their relationship.

By that time, fans were already convinced that they were dating. However, they had more reason to believe the rumors after Anderson accompanied Mariah to the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards. He was seated right next to her and her twins Moroccan & Monroe when she stood up to receive the Icon Award.

“It’s nice for Mariah to be around someone very talented in the music industry,” the insider added. “She feels challenged and reinvigorated about new projects coming up.”

As of this report, Mariah Carey and Anderson .Paak have not commented on their relationship. We're sure fans will celebrate whenever they do make it Instagram official.
