Ja Rule gave a heartfelt goodbye to his longtime collaborator Irv Gotti during the late producer's funeral.

On Wednesday, February 19, the family of Irving Lorenzo, Jr. held a private service for loved ones and close friends at the Greater Allen A.M.E. Cathedral of New York, in his hometown of Queens. The service was attended by the late musician's family as well as his former artists like Vita, Ashanti, Lloyd and Charli Baltimore. TMZ confirmed JAY-Z, Fat Joe, Benny Boom, Steve Stoute, Hype Williams and Power 105.1's Angie Martinez also attended the service. During his speech, Ja Rule tried to hold back his tears as he eulogized his late friend.

"I just wanna say Irv I love you," Ja said at the podium. "Everyone in this room loves you. You touched everybody in your own way in this room. I know everyone has their moments... so we're all here in celebration of your life because it will live on forever. I love you my brother. I'll see you when I get there."

After the procession, Irv Gotti's family reportedly rode around the late artist's old neighborhood in Queens one last time. They passed by his childhood home and the park where Gotti developed his DJ skills before he embarked on his career as a hitmaking producer and music executive.

Irv Gotti passed away earlier this month. Although an exact cause of death has not been revealed, he reportedly suffered multiple strokes over the past year. He was reportedly in the hospital on life support during his last days. His family said he died while surrounded by loved ones. He was 54.

Rest in peace, Irv Gotti. See tributes to the late producer below.
