According to a list compiled by QS Top Universities, the best university in Michigan is the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. Michigan State University was named runner up!

The University of Michigan scores extremely well in the academic reputation indicator, coming in 22nd place globally, reflecting their commitment towards academic excellence. The university ranks highly for a multitude of subjects in the subject rankings, especially in dentistry, where it places first in the world."
