A missing Michigan woman has launched an investigation in two states, according to a recent news release from the Michigan State Police.

The Michigan State Police Gaylord Post is currently searching for 27-year-old Alexandria "Lexi" Gorman. No one has heard from the woman in over three weeks, according to a news release from the Michigan State Police Gaylord Post.

Before she disappeared, Gorman was staying at a residence in Sterling Heights, although she is originally from Gaylord, according to Michigan police. She suddenly vanished on October 16, leaving her job, boyfriend and residence without any notice.

Gorman's mother spoke with her in October and Gorman stated she was in Virginia Beach, Virginia, according to police. However, her social media accounts have since gone inactive, and her phone goes to voicemail when called. The police also added that they have contacted authorities in Virginia about Gorman's disappearance, and they are aiding in the search.

Anyone with any information regarding Gorman's whereabouts is asked to call the Gaylord Area Regional Dispatch at 989-732-5141 or 911. Some photos of Gorman, which can be found below, show her with colorful hair that had been dyed green on one side and pink on the other. She also has bangs.
