A Detroit non-profit organization has received $400,000 to educate our youth. This fund will cover the job training programs and will prepare our youth for the real world and provide career opportunities. All participants will receive stipends, supportive services and match funding.
President and Chief Executive Eva Dewaelsche of SER Metro-Detroit says the funding allows our Detroit non-profit organization to "expand its reach to those most in need and provide a path to meaningful long-term employment and self-sufficiency.”
