After 46 Years & A Legal Battle The Long Awaited Aretha Franklin Documentary Amazing Grace Will Finally Be Released.  It was filmed over two nights at the New Temple Missionary Baptist Church in Los Angeles, when Franklin recorded her Amazing Grace album.  Shot Back In 1972 By Director Sydney Pollack but Was Unedited For Years! After Years Of Legal Issues Including The Queen Of Soul Herself Blocking The Films Release & Even Suing The Producer For " using her likeness without her permission" The Film Is set To Be released! Legal clearance finally came after the singer's death, when family members were able to see the film. The film will premiere Monday in New York at a documentary film festival but  a wider release would likely take place in January, potentially coinciding with the birthday of civil rights leader Martin Luther King.
