BREAKING: Sexual assault charges REVIVED in Mateen Cleaves case

A judge has ruled that the charges against former Michigan State University basketball player Mateen Cleaves were wrongfully dropped, and order the trail continue. Monday Judge Archie L. Hayman ruled that District Judge M. Cathy Dowd "did abuse her discretion of power" in dismissing the sexual assault case against the sports star.

Cleaves, 39, was accused of sexually assaulting a woman at a Flint motel in September 2015. He faces two counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct and one count of unlawful imprisonment, assault with intent to commit sexual penetration and second-degree criminal sexual conduct, if convicted.
