It's Election Day Tuesday 2020!

Election Day Tuesday 2020 is finally here! Nearly 100,000 Americans have already voted, but there are many eligible voters yet to vote. Today is the day!!Here are a few things to know before you head to the polls!

Split tickets are allowed

While you can't vote "split ticket" during the primary election in Michigan, you can split your ticket during the general election.

Voter registration

The deadline has passed to register to vote online or by mail, but you can still register to vote in Michigan in-person at your local clerk's office.

To be eligible to register to vote you must be:

A Michigan resident (at the time you register) and a resident of your city or township for at least 30 days (when you vote)

Proof of residency if registering within two weeks of Election:

If you register within 14 days of Election Day, You must show proof of where you live.
