GM Auto Workers are on strike

GM auto workers want a fair deal.One way to make that happen is to go on strike.That’s exactly what happened.At around midnight about 50,000 workers from across the country, Michigan to Texas, went on strike.33 manufacturing plants in nine states and 22 parts distribution warehouses have been shut down.The UAW and GM couldn’t come to an agreement over fair wages, affordable healthcare, their share of profits, job security and a defined path to permanent seniority for temp workers.This is being called the biggest strike in the last decade!Talks resumed today and experts say a resolution could soon come.
