Lebron James will dedicate $1M to adding a gym at I Promise School

Lebron James continues to do some incredible things for his community!We all heard about the NBA superstar establishing a school for high-risk youth in his hometown of Akron, OH, The I Promise School.He’s now taking it a step further.He just announced a partnership with Dick’s Sporting Goods where $1M will be dedicated to building a gym at the school to be used for after school activities and physical education. He’s what he had to say:

“I believe the sky is the limit for these kids and the results we’re seeing are just the beginning. Dick’s Sporting Goods Foundation believes in the opportunities and values sports provide, and I’ve experienced that at every level. I saw it growing up with my teammates and I see it with my kids now. The benefits of playing sports can extend to every aspect of your life, and I’m excited we’re able to provide a space for that growth at the I Promise School.”
