It was so incredibly heartbreaking to hear about the 16-year-old student who died after being stabbed by a 17-year-old classmate this morning. This happened at Fitzgerald High School in Warren. Apparently a kitchen knife from home was used to stab the victim two times during a fight. Sending prayers to this young girl’s family at this devastating time. As a Mother, I can’t imagine what her parents are going through in this moment. We want so badly to protect our children from EVERYTHING, but we can’t always be with our kids every minute. This happened at school where kids should feel safe. An investigation is on-going as to how the student got the knife in to the school.
