Christopher Krebs, director of the U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, has urged the public, especially the industrial sector, to brush up on Iranian tactics as Iranian malicious cyber-attacks will be escalating due to the attack on the US Embassy in Baghdad.

Sometimes, movies have portrayed the technology 30+ years in advance. .Future Tech in Movies series at theDetroit Public Library will discuss these movies and the future technology in them every 2nd Saturday at Wilder Detroit Public Library branch 7140 E. Seven Mile Rd. and 2nd Monday at Redford Detroit Public Library branch 21200 Grand River Ave.

The February Movie is iRobot starring Will Smith, Bridget Moynahan, Alan Tudyk, James Cromwell and Chi McBride. Movie is set In 2035 where a technophobic cop investigates a crime that may have been perpetrated by a robot, which leads to a larger threat to humanity. Our discussion theme will be Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
